Born in Stockholm, based in London. Susanne Hjälte started her creative journey studying graphic design and photography in Sweden. But  decided to focus on jewellery making shortly after she moved to London, after a foundation year at London college of fashion she completed a BA Hons in Jewellery and Silversmithing at Sir John Cass University of Art.

Growing up in Scandinavia where rock music is popular and the forests are never ending, Susanne creates pieces that are well-polished but also crude, just like nature (and good music).

All jewellery is designed and made by Susanne and suppliers are as locally sourced as possible. The jewellery is cast with recycled silver and is packed in gift, and postage boxes, made of acid free, recyclable paper. She strives to be as sustainable as possible in her workshop.
